My job as a medication aide has given me amazing opportunities. It has taught me about the interaction between the clinical and personal worlds in healthcare. While learning valuable skills like wound care, catheter care, and narcotic overdose protocol, I also learned how to interact with clients and begin developing a bedside manner.
